This composite veneer can resist fractures and withstand more abrasions more than the direct composite version. But this is quite costly than the direct composite veneers. 

Porcelain veneers

Porcelain veneers are the custom made for your teeth with the porcelain. For this, the dentist will take impressions of your teeth, and the veneers are then made from the mould in the dental lab. This process may take a week or even longer.

 But you will be given with the temporary set of teeth when you are waiting for the porcelain. Once the veneers are ready, the dentist will cement the thin shells of porcelain to the front of the teeth. Then they shape them to look as much as natural.
